FOR TUESDAY DEC 1:

1. POST the PEER REVIEWS of the FIRST draft to the wiki BEFORE section meets

How to tune back in: Peer Group E

[Dec 8] World of illusions: Peer Group F

Here is what you can do to prepare for discussion facilitation.

i) Provide a *short* summary of the article you are responsible for. You could use a handout if you like, but it is not required.

ii) Have a few discussion questions ready and make connection with lecture materials when you discuss the questions with class.

iii) As for the format, I will give you much flexibility on this one.  You may or may not want to do any types of activities (e.g. small group, role play, audiovisual aids etc.) to get your points across -

iv) Time limit: 10 - 15 min

v) I will consider this as a part of your discussion participation. So, I strongly encourage every group member to contribute during preparation process.

3. If you are presenting next week, please be well prepared.

Remember, DO NOT summarize the article and DO NOT read off the manuscript - !

4. Here is the lib instructor, Todd's e-mail address: "Todd A. Bruns" <tbruns@library.wisc.edu> If you have any further questions about the database search etc., please feel free to contact him -

5. Extra credit: If you have completed both extra credit studies/surveys/experiments, please turn into me a sheet of paper Tuesday with the general topic and approximate date you completed the studies. Put your student ID number on it so I can check them against the list I get from the researchers. Remember you must do 2 studies to get the 4 points.

SELF-CRITIQUE INSTRUCTIONS

I have sent your presentation videos to each of you,

so you should be able to get an e-mail from theflip.com with the link to your video.

(Check your spam or junk mailbox for the e-mail if you don't find it in your inbox.)

**Leave the self-critique in your personal page of the wiki within one week period - !
